Three Nails Mentoring

Let me start off by saying that I had the most incredible time ever during my mentorship with Hunter.  Him and his assistant, Lauren, made me feel very comfortable like I had known them for years.  The knowledge he possess about weddings are priceless, he told me all of the do’s and don’t’s and in’s and out’s in the wedding industry.  Everything down to how he packages his CD’s (which is GORGEOUS, by the way!!)  to how to make sure you are protected with detailed contracts, he literally covered everything during my mentorship!  One of my favorite portions of the mentorship was the editing, Hunter gave me some of his custom actions, and let me tell you, they are AMAZING!!  They seriously take a good image and take it above and beyond an AMAZING image.  After we went over editing, our model, Bailey, arrived to have her makeup and hair done.  She was absolutely beautiful inside and out and I am very thankful to have been able to shoot her!  Hunter even styled her himself (hair and makeup, too!  he is SO talented!), I loved watching him bring to life what he had imagined for our shoot.  After we were done with the styling, we left for our shoot, when we arrived I was so giddy at how gorgeous our location was!  Everything was perfect, the makeup, the hair, the dress, accessories, props, EVERYTHING.  Hunter was a joy to shoot beside, he always made sure that I got the shot and that I didn’t have any problems or questions.  He was very descriptive with everything he was doing, from posing to lighting and getting down onto the model’s level.  I couldn’t have asked for a better shoot during my mentorship!  It was absolutely perfect.  I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from such a talented photographer, and it was worth every penny I spent and more.  I highly recommend a mentorship or workshop with Three Nails Photography!  Thank you so much Hunter, Lauren and Bailey”

These shots are absolutely stunning!

I love the juxtaposition of the soft, frilly dress with the man’s hat and pipe.

The props are great, too (clock, flowers, horse, etc.), though there’s one with the horse that looks like the horse has no front legs…

But I just absolutely adore your work :) So creative, such a great inspiration.
